Types of Membership:

  • Individual: Gives an individual membership for one calendar year
  • Combined OHLA/OLA Membership: Individual members may become Ontario Library Association members at a reduced fee.
  • Retired/Non-working/Student: Student membership in OHLA is open to all individuals who are enrolled in a library science program or library technician program.  Students will also be automatically registered as members of OLA at no extra charge.

Each member of an institution has the benefits of an Individual Membership with the following exception:   There is only one voting member per institution.  The person with voting rights must be identified at time of registration. Same benefits as an Individual Membership.

Note: Students also become OLA members with no extra charge.

The OHLA membership year runs January through December. Mail your completed membership form and cheque (payable to OHLA) to the current OHLA Treasurer:
