Irma Sauvola is the Librarian Supervisor at the Health Sciences North | Horizon Santé Nord. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree and a Diploma in Public Administration from Western University. As well as being the 2015 OHLA President, Irma serves on several committees at Health Sciences North, the Northeast Cancer Centre and the Northern School of Medicine. She is looking forward to serving her term as OHLA President and, surviving the implementation of LEAN at Health Sciences North.

Gurvinder Batra has a Masters degree in Information Studies from the University of Toronto. She also has a Masters degree in Library Science and Home Science from Punjab University, India. Currently she is a solo Librarian at the Toronto East General Hospital. Prior to this, she worked at University Health Network and Bloorview Kids Rehab. In the past, she served a number of positions for OHLA and THLA. In her personal life, she practices yoga, sings hymns in congregations and serves in her community.

Rachel joined the National Pain Centre as a research librarian in October 2013. She supported systematic reviews at the Cochrane Back Review Group and the Institute for Work & Health in Toronto before joining the NPC to undertake similar work. Rachel graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Information Studies at the University of Toronto.

Toni Janik is the Library Coordinator of Windsor Regional Hospital and Adjunct Professor Wayne State University. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and is a distinguished member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals. Toni is the current treasurer of OHLA, and is serving on the executives of SOHLIN, MDMLG and MHSLA.

Kimberley Aslett has been the Health Sciences Librarian at the Sault Area Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie for nearly a decade. She graduated with an MLS from the University of Toronto, and an MA in English from the University of Guelph. She is also a post-secondary English and writing instructor, and combines these to focus on issues of health literacy, research, and writing.

Debbie Arsenault is the Coordinator of Library Services at Lakeridge Health where she has worked for over 15 years. She has been involved with OHLA for several years, most recently as Secretary and looks forward to the role of e-license coordinator.

Elyse has had a long career (perhaps too long) in Libraries - working in the university, medical and non-profit sectors. Recently retired, she has spent the last 13 years at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound Ontario as a solo librarian and various other administrative roles including chair of the Clinical Ethics Research Committee. Elyse has served in various roles within the OHLA including newsletter editor, medical editor of OLA Access Health Watch column and a stint as president. This year conference planning - next year, the world!.

Bailey Urso is a librarian at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, ON. She holds a Masters of Library and Information Science degree from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology from Wilfrid Laurier University. This is her first time on the OHLA executive and she is very excited to be a part of the team. Outside the library world, Bailey is a yoga instructor and a knitting/sewing/crafting enthusiast.

Mary McDiarmid, MIST, is the librarian at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in Whitby. She is serving as CE Coordinator for 2015 and has held a past role on the OHLA Executive as Conference Planner, President, and as Editor for the Health Watch column in the Access Magazine of The Ontario Library Association.

Nonna Volodina is a Librarian and Consumer Health Specialist at Halton Healthcare Services. She received her Masters in Information from the University of Toronto in the Spring of 2013. Nonna is new to the OHLA, but also serves on the executive of CHIPIG (Consumer Health Information Providers Interest Group) and is the CHLA/ABSC Representative to Accreditation Canada.
